First of all, Happy Chinese New Year! The time is upon us, in which lai sees are distributed, bai nians (greetings) are spoken and we all fully stock our ever abundant stomachs with endless amounts of food. Whether you're living in the 852 or 90210, I wish you all a very happy and prosperous year of the horse! Secondly, can you believe it's the end of January already! January has flown by so fast. On a personal note, thank you to all that have stuck by me and this blog, I know that January was a bit sparse but with the removal of mocks and impending assignments, I suddenly find my calendar blissfully empty. With the exception of the King Krule concert that I'm attending. So here's to February, a month of warmer days and more ramblings in this space!
I was slightly inspired by American Horror Story Coven with this all black ensemble, with the exception of the green platforms. I am beyond obsessed with coven and can't believe it has ended already (eek), what to do now with life? Unfortunately I am missing one black wide brimmed hat. So when I do manage to get my hands on a hat that fulfills my wishes, I must make sure to post an updated 'coven' look.
30 day/post song challenge
Day 30: A song that you loved last year this time
'The Meeting Place' by The Last Shadow Puppets
I could go on forever about my infinite love for this song, but I think I'll let this song speak for itself. I'll simply say that it is my lifelong dream to see The Last Shadow Puppets live as it combines two of my dearest loves, Alex Turner and Miles Kane. This song got me through a lot of bad times and good times so it seems fitting that it be the final song of the 30 day/post challenge. I can't believe that I've finished it and it was amazing sharing 30 of my dearest songs. So sit back, relax, and let The Last Shadow Puppets entertain you.
Left to right, black dress (couldn't find!), white dress
All collages made by me.
I never got round to posting a christmas wish list, so in lieu of that, I've decided to post a 'January' wish list because lets face it, the new year is the perfect excuse to restock our wardrobes. Knowing that the month is indeed January, I've included a variety of sweaters to keep you snug, and a few easy breezy pieces in preparation for Spring.
All the items in my wish list come from a website called Persunmall.com. Persunmall is a China based website that is great for buying all kinds of things at cheap prices, be it clothing, assessories and even dresses for formal. Students, keep your eyes peeled for this website. I've spent countless hours just adding things to my 'wishlist' on the website. All the items have been linked in the description so it should be relatively easy if you want to find anything. I highly recommend checking out this website because its great for all seasons and all occasions. Plus, the prices sure don't hurt.
This post is disgustingly late as these photos were taken (by my favourite sister) a week ago and its only going up today! Still better late than never right? I'm feeling very assasin's creed in this hooded combination. I think that myself, and a lot of other bloggers, tend to 'doll it up' for the camera, and a lot of the time, we tend to forget to snap our actual normal uniform. So I'd thought I liked to show you guys my usual attire whilst I'm lounging around the house. Just so you guys can see what I'm *ahem* actually like.
My sister snapped these photos whilst we were walking our dog Maggie. As my time in Hong Kong is quickly coming to a halt, I've been spending more and more time with the loveable fool and I honestly have no idea how I'll be able to deal with all the separation anxiety I'll be facing once we're separated. Star-crossed lovers? I think so.
I've also realized that this is my first post of the new year! So a belated happy new year everyone? Sorry that this is my first post of this year, but I've just been so swept away with work. Hopefully I'll have more time in the new year to post more outfits, especially once I'm free of the IB. Never again will two letters haunt me with such negative feelings.

Day/Post 29: A song from your childhood
'Twist and shout' by The Beatles
Nostalgia to the max.

PS: Can we talk about how rad this choker is? I found it in a box! Not only does it go with my brand new holographic kicks, it also reflects rhinestones in the sun. Double whammy.
PPS: I've been dying to cut my hair a la Kiko Mizuharu, thoughts, words opinions? Should I take the cut or not?
