Runnin with the Devil

CHECK OUT MY REGGAE NAILS! Never taking them off. Ever.

A smile?!

Choker- DIY, Leotard- Vintage DKNY, Shorts- Thrifted, Shoes- Jeffrey Campbell cutout Freda's

First of all, I apologize for the mild excessive amount of jpegs as I understand  it can be hurtful towards the naked eye. But in my defense... Actually, I don't have any defense whatsoever. This calls for a completely relevant hashtag. #shameless. Anyways, I've been channeling a weird combination of Yoko Ono and Morticia Addams vibes recently which is very a little bit different from my normal attire, yet it sits just as comfortably on my shoulders. I've only worn this leotard once before (for my salty sixteenth) and there were some, how should I say, distinctive memories I have with it. Nonetheless, I love the neckline and the black velvetness of it all. I've decided to bring the choker back. I think the last time I wore a choker I was about 7 or 8 and it was for the school disco. #bamf. I'm really getting into this whole hashtag thing. And I added my old Freda's because, well just because.

 30 Day/ Post Song Challenge

Day/Post 13: A song no one would expect you to love

'Runnin' with the Devil' by Van Halen

What can I say? I like this song! Van Halen is major badass. At its finest. My love for this song is all due to Freaks and Geeks. I first heard this song on the first episode of Freaks and Geeks and fell in love with the show, with the song, with the whole ideal of it. Needless to say, the show and the song has definitely become a favourite. Now all I need to do is find my own daniel desario to run off with.

You got me feelin high and I can't step off the cloud

Top- Thrifted, Skirt- HK boutique, Necklace- DIY, Sunglasses- Vintage, Socks- Nike, Creepers- Office

So this absence was a few too days longer than my previous post so I apologize for that! Somehow, we've finally managed to reach easter break so needless to say, I'm ecstatic for 336 hours of lazying down and munching on discount chocolates. This sleeveless turtle-neck and circle skirt combo is quickly becoming my go to outfit. Especially on days where I only have five minutes to get ready. I'm really liking this whole cheerleader vibe it has going on. Even though cheerleading is the total antithesis of my being. Oh and I tried to Kelly Kapowski-fy my hair... hey it was a valiant effort!

30 day song challenge: Day/Post 12: A song from a band you hate used to like

"Just can't get enough" by The Black Eyed Peas

So if you asked natalie circa 2011 what her favourite song was, she may have said the name of the song above. Yes folks, thats right, I used to have a big obsession with The Black Eyed Peas. Not saying that I hate them now, its just that my taste has changed a lot since then. And while nowadays, you'll probably find me babbling about Muse or Young the Giant, you'll still catch me nodding my head to this baby.

I thought I was a fool for no one

Top- forgot :S, Jacket- HK boutique, Riding Pant- American apparel, Creepers- Underground

 Photography by Nick (:

So I'm finally back onto this blog! It seemed like ages (a week and a bit) since I last uploaded an outfit post so I'm glad that I now have a few minutes to spare. These photos were taken back on one of Hong Kong's colder days (13˚C...) but we've seemed to have recovered now. Experiencing a major indian summer here, not that I'm complaining. I love how the top I'm wearing is off-the-shoulder. I think off-the-shoulder tops are so flattering and so incredibly pertinent in this weather (hong kong weather again.. sorry to all my readers from other corners of the world)!

Day/Post 11: A song from your favourite band

'Supermassive black hole' by Muse

So its no secret to my friends that I have a huge obsession with Muse. Muse is a musical masterpiece that continues to produce sensational sounds into my teenage ears.

MIND VOMIT

All images from my tumblr, which you can follow here

I haven't blogged in over a week which is an eternity in the blogosphere so I'm sorry for that. To say that things have become hectic would be an understatement, school has kicked into full gear with two weeks to spare before the easter holidays. And mocks kick in two weeks after easter, which leaves easter as revision time. Woe is the life of an asian teenager. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel, I've got a few shoots planned and my baby is coming back soon and some new lens! I cannot wait to go outside and shoot something, it feels so long since I last took a picture of anything and felt gratified with it.

Send me to sleep

Creepers- Underground, Shorts and Shirt- Thrifted, Belt- Vintage, Bag- Hiroshima

Hello lovely readers! So these photos were taken by my good friend Nick a few weeks ago and I found them sitting in the 'untitled folder' today. Easter is quickly approaching, or otherwise known as exam revision period, so I may seem slightly astray during that time. On that note, I have been very active, if anything over active, on my tumblr, which you can check out here as well. Sorry for the lack of creative and witty sentences, frankly I feel more dead than alive right now so my brain is slowly lagging behind. Anyways, a promise is a promise, so without further ado, here is my song challenge thingymabob.

30 day/post song challenge

Day/Post 10 (weee 1/3 of the way!): A song you can fall asleep to

Asleep by The Smiths

So I'm kindof obsessed with The Smiths. I was introduced to this song when I read The Perks of being a wallflower and ever since then, its my number one go to sleep song. Most of you probably don't know this, but I sometimes have problems falling asleep due to my brains' non stop ticking, so listening to music really helps me fall asleep.
