10. White still lives. Easy white, easy separates, easy easy.

12. Chunky, strappy, platform, monochromatic, I want them all.

Dreadful etiquette, I apologize, but I wanted to fill this URL with a quick update into what is currently wandering around my mind. A while ago, a boy asked me 'What's in your mind?', so this is my visual response to that. Sorry for the lack of words + outfits + interesting and cool stuff today, but I'm really feeling this whole IB struggle

Until next time

SOMEDAY

Dress- Mother's, Shoes- Jeffery Campbell, Sunglasses- Rayban's.  Photo's by mum.

I've been in a bit off a romantic mood lately, probably due to my undying love for Baz Luhrmann's 1996 Romeo and Juliet (seriously how can you nottt resist 90's leo), so why not emphasize it with this obnoxiously red teared dress I found in my mother's closet. Perks of having a mother who can dress. Check one. So after stealing, and then having granted permission to keep this dress, what better way to finish this off with having mum take my pictures for a change. I've been struggling to get some outfit shots done, partly due to the mountains of work that seem to be getting bigger and bigger day by day, partly due to my immense laziness in which I have spent countless days leaving the charger on my laptop, and also partly due to the fact that I am in need of a photographer. So mum was pretty much a lifesaver when she stepped in. And I couldn't pass off the excuse to twirl and swish in such a pretty dress.

Day/Post 25: A song that you want to play at your wedding

'The Way You Look Tonight' by Fred Astaire/ Frank Sinatra/ Maroon 5/ Tony Bennet

Lots of people have covered this song over the years, and for good reason. This song is so classic and beautiful, so its no wonder that its heard time and time again.    Personally, my favourite version has to be Sinatra's, but Maroon 5 does hold up to it quite well. Still Astaire's is the classic. To put it simply, this song is simply 'lovely'.

The Pocket Guide to Plays & Playwrights by Maureen Hughes; House of Holland nails in Zig Zag Stardust

Here's a quick post documenting my new October entries. Its been a while since I've done this sort of post, so I wanted to show you whats new in my Narnia-esque wardrobe. And contrary to popular belief, most of these items were indeed cheap thrills, with the exception of the rad House of Holland nails gifted by my sister. I picked up these shirts at a newly opened thrift store the other day, and I could not be happier about them. There's another shirt that I got, however I haven't pictured it since I have DIY plans for it. My  parents returned from London with this book thats amazing for only £2! I've also got these hair products (freebies) that are going to be instrumental in taming this mane of my head. Alright, I'm off to nomming on swiss rolls in preparation of winter (yes that is a thing).

CALIFORNIA ENGLISH

Shoes- Office, Dress- Mong Kok, Choker- DIY

To say that nothing's changed at all between the duration of this post and my previous post would be a complete and utter lie. I sincerely apologize for my absence on the blogosphere but life really has taken a toll on me, namely school. I've been in a mad frenzy handing in first and second and third drafts of overdue essays and when I'm not working, I'm literally counting down the seconds I have until the next thing is due. Its a vicious cycle of procrastinate, realize I actually have to do something, work work work, hand in, repeat. And on top of that, my parents are away on temporary leave, claiming to aid my sister in the UK. Which leaves me, the former second child now proclaimed eldest child, in charge of two youngsters with a billion extra curricular activities. So when I'm not running about for work, I'm running around the house, making sure nothing's on fire. So being parent-less and sister-less and immersed into work has left me little time for outfits and blogging. In fact, I rushed home today just so I could get the last bit of light to take these photos. Leading into my next point, although I have younger sisters, who are great especially when you're older than them and thus have authority over them, I have been without photographer for yonkers. So If someone would like to help me out in the jpeg department, that would be greatly appreciated! Drop me an email or message me for further info. Ok, let me stop there, too much for the night!
