*Apologies for blurry/non sharp photos*

To put it simply, Christmas happened. And then promptly left. For some reason, Christmas really didn't feel very 'Christmas-y' this year. I'm not sure whether its because I was swarmed up in revision and only began holiday break 5 days before the actual event or the fact that Hong Kong didn't really feel festive, but somehow, Christmas felt really, dare I say, fast? In the flashes of flashes, it was there, then it was gone. Still, I hope you all managed to have a lovely time, whether it was on Bondi (hating all of you Southern Hemisphere lot), or, like me, shivering next to non-existent outdoor heating. Anyhow, one of the joys of Christmas is being thankful for what we receive. By this, I really just mean opening presents. And my sister graciously gifted me this leotard from Lazy Oaf *gasps* *screams* *faints* that not only is from Lazy Oaf, but also describes me in one word, Lazy. What a perfect Christmas gift.

As you may or may not know from the title of this post, I am finally seventeen! Seventeen is a strange feeling, I feel neither older or younger. Yet the word 'seventeen' does sound much more, dare I say, sophisticated than the sixteen? I can't even begin to fathom how I've wandered this ground for seventeen solid years. Winter has finally arrived and school is out of session, equaling to an absurdly high amount of procrastination. Christmas is just around the corner but for some reason, it hasn't hit me yet. Maybe its because my head's been mainly stuck in books? Oh and yes, this knee socks will definitely not be coming off me. Love them 5eva.

PS: If you haven't already followed my instagram, you would've probably known that the best birthday present I've received is a uni offer to study at my first choice. I'm not sure when to reveal it here but I am beyond excited to be studying in London next year!

NOSTALGIC PAVEMENTS

Shirt- Vintage, Shorts- Thrifted (DIY), Socks- H&M, Cardigan- Mum, Shoes- Converse

Photos by Conrad

Its been a while blog but I'm finally back and armed with more outfit posts! Words cannot even begin to express the sorrow that I have for further fueling my reputation as a 'crappy blogger'. But alas, life has really gotten in the way. In between this post and the previous one, I have been busy going to Clockenflap, being a cheerleader Rydell (my school's wittily named musical) and mostly being a high school student. The latter involving multiple deadlines for work that I should really finish, downing multiple cups of coffee green tea, waking up at ungodly hours (sleep, what sleep) and feeling sudden death by impending uni apps that need to be sended off. At this point, I'm seriously considering dropping out of the IB, growing a beard and joining the circus. Jokes aside, my friend Conrad helped take these photos of me this morning during our free period (perks of being a high school student, if there are any). And my sister's back on Monday, which means more time for outfit posts! Its gotten 'cold' in Hong Kong (20˚C below), but by my standards, its still warm enough to rock these marginally short denim cutoffs but cold enough to pull out my knee socks. I should probably stop rambling about the weather and enjoy it while it lasts, its only going to get colder from here. Hopefully.

'Mouthwash' by Kate Nash

Yonkers ago, I was able to wonkily play the beginning of this song. Now lets hope that I at least get one key right.

4. 90's TV shows and movies. Gold.

5. Her hair. Her sunglasses. Her lipstick!

6. Sky ferreira. Sky forever.

7. Natural wonders of the world.

8. Heartthrobs.

9. Ink and pen tattoo's

10. White still lives. Easy white, easy separates, easy easy.

11. Lusting live concerts.

12. Chunky, strappy, platform, monochromatic, I want them all.

Dreadful etiquette, I apologize, but I wanted to fill this URL with a quick update into what is currently wandering around my mind. A while ago, a boy asked me 'What's in your mind?', so this is my visual response to that. Sorry for the lack of words + outfits + interesting and cool stuff today, but I'm really feeling this whole IB struggle

Until next time
