COME CLOSER

Choker- DIY, Top- Boutique in HK, Shorts- Thrifted and DIY'd, Shoes- Underground, Bracelet- From Nick (thank you :*), Watch- Guess

Well, what can I say, other than the obligatory apology for being the crappiest blogger on the planet, this week has definitely been a whirlwind. Be it handing in mountains of papers, slaving away until the early light of dawn and experiencing having my own room for the first time in my life (my sister has moved out and on to her new joyeus life in london). This week has definitely had its ups and downs. But throughout it all, I've really discovered that I have a really rad bunch of people in my life, so I'd like to take this moment to appreciate all the greatness they've brought into my life (I love you t-law!). Ok enough sappiness. Lets go back to this gnarly tie dye top. Psychedelic, isn't it?

30 Day/Post Song Challenge

Day/Post 23: A song that you wish you could play

'Come Closer' by Miles Kane

There are so many songs that I would absolutely die to play but I think it would be pretty cool to whip out the sick chords of 'come closer'. Plus Miles Kane is pretty amazing so having the ability to play anything by him would be the definition of rad.

FNO! '13

Megan is such a beauty!

The Fashion Wonton

Being a midget next to Maddy

The ever so lovely Zoe!

Laura and Tiffany (designer for PinkShoulderz) looking rad as ever.

Nick looking sharp

Nick, me, Nicole, Emily and Megan. All photos by me, except for this one, its Nicole's.

Summing up Fashion's Night Out in a few words is always a difficult task, however, this is only my second Fashion's Night Out so bear with me. I blame this being on the fact that Hong Kong has only had 2 Fashion's Night Out, as compared to Japan's a billion fashion soiree's. Nonetheless, this event did not disappoint. Whilst I preferred last year's epic array of designer's and bloggers (tokyo dandy anyone!), the real party this year was with all the rad youngsters around. It was such a pleasure going with the same group as last year's (Nick and Nicole) and my sister soulmate Megan, as well as hanging out with Emily again and meeting the towering, radiant Maddy. Together, we sipped on dirty drinks courtesy of the Moustache bar, savoured Lola's Ice Pops, admired the legends known as 'The Bumby's' (performance art is my new thing ya'll) and got tattooed (temporary, relax) by very cute french boys. It was also lovely to run into people I did know, including the oh so charming Zoe (if you haven't heard of her, you're living under a rock) as we chatted about her amazing stint as the official instagrammer for american apparel hong kong (go follow @aahongkong for more goodness!). And it was great to see Laura beiro as I sheepishly hummed "I follow your blog" to her doll face. All in all, Fashion's Night Out was the perfect getaway from the hell of IB and the night was topped off with some cheeky drinks from Sevva. Orange juice only.

Until next time FNO.

IGNYTE + UPDATE!

Dear all, unfortunately, I have not fallen off the face of the earth, instead I have been retreating into the comfort of my business books due to the prison which I've been kept in, a.k.a the IB diploma. Anyways, I've been absolutely horrible in maintaining this blog up to date. So with that in mind, I've decided to post a quick updates post. So if you're interested, scroll on.

1. IGNYTE

So a few months back I did a quick interview for Ignyte Magazine, and their issue has just come out, so be sure to check it out (: I'm really happy by the way it turned out, so click here to check it out. Also, be sure to 'like' them on facebook for more updates!

2. FASHION'S NIGHT OUT

To those who are unaware, Fashion's Night Out in Hong Kong is happening on Friday (tomorrow!). Its Hong Kong's second FNO, so its still relatively new compared to other countries. FNO will be happening in three locations and you can find more info about FNO Hong Kong here. Its a great chance to explore new designers, meet rad people and generally nosh on the free food! I'll be at the IFC location  from 6- 10 and I would love to see anyone of you! So please come on down. And in case you wary of what its going to be like, check out my post from last year's FNO here

3. #INSTAGRAM

So you're probably sick of me announcing this, but after many moons, I finally caved into peer pressure and got instagram. I've been having a few setbacks recently (namely having my phone stolen), but please feel free to follow me and check out my ista for more shenanigans. You can check it out here, and follow @the_nat_pack.

That's it for now!
