Bralet- Gift, Skirt + Shoes- HK boutique

The course to lookbook photos never did run smooth. At least, in my case! Lets just say mosquito bites were fierce. Definitely one of my more *ahem* risky looks in relation to amounts of skin being shown. But hey, Its 25˚C outside! In other words, sorry about the grainy quality of my photos, I've had to switch from my nikon d3000 to a canon at the moment due to technical issues and I'm already missing using my baby so much. Yes, I just called my inanimate dslr a baby, and I'm proud of it. On to le song challenge.

30 day song challengeDay/ Post 9: A song that you can dance to'Latch' by Disclosure

No brainer for me. I didn't want to think much as my brain is currently getting crammed by the wrath of IB. I'm a huge fan of disclosure and they continue to produce amazing masterpieces for my ears. Latch is the sort of song that makes me forget about this issue of homework and gives me a sudden desire to dance it all away.

The Fresh Prince

Sorry for the massive overload of jpegs but I'm a fickle person! And I was having a bit too much fun with the blurring in and out. Blurs aside, today Nicole and I ventured outside to take some photos. In approximately nine hours, School restarts, so I am writing and trying to devour the last precious moments of my CNY holiday. If the title wasn't any indication, this look is inspired by the one and only, FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR! The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is one of my favourite TV shows ever. Period. I was trying to emulate Will Smith's immaculate 'cool' with my own badass Betty Boop hat from the 90's! Yep, note the use of the word 'trying'. Anyways, this leads me to my 30 day/post song challenge!

Day 08: A song that you know all the words to

'Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme Song' by Will Smith

Mannn this is the best theme song of all time! And I am proud to say that I know it off by heart. This just makes my day. Just hearing the beat of the song sends my heart into a frenzy. The just don't make them like this anymore.

Happy Valentine's day lovelies, or as I like to say 'I love you chocolate' day! To be honest, I'm not sure where I stand on the love or hate valentine's day considering I've never had a valentine on valentine's (get it? haha I make you laugh.. yeah no). However, I hope you all are having a better than bearable day wherever you are, whatever you're doing. Yet on this love note, I just want to thank all of you who are reading this! You really brighten my day. And on that note, let me sound off on my 30 day/post song challenge thingyabob.

Day 07: A song that reminds you of a certain event

'Lala' by The Cab

I am a huge fan of The Cab, and I saw them last year when they were opening up for Maroon 5. The Cab is amazing live and I highly recommend all of you go see them. Lala is the perfect song of bringing back those memories of shoving through hoards of sweaty armed pre pubescent pre teens in order to get a closer glance at the band in all their glory. Plus I could have sworn Alex Marshall glanced back at me. Well, I definitely glanced back at him.
